My name is Dave Whalen and I used to have an awful marriage.
For 18 years I was trapped in what seemed like a terrible marriage that was unescapable. When my wife and I first got married, we had committed that divorce was not an option, but as our children grew up and were about to leave the house, we figured out that we needed help or we would be destined to be room mates. We went through biblical counseling, and now our marriage is awesome. We even both got certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, a process which took a little over two years and cost thousands of dollars.
I have had the privilege of counseling several married couples and walking them through their troubles - troubles with adultery, communication, biblical marriage roles, and an array of other problems which plague modern marriages.
